Step One: Examining Some Telecollaborative Projects:

Telecollaborative projects can be built to address a variety of curricular goals. Whatever academic discipline or disciplines they are built to address, all telecollaborative projects should:

  • Involve collaboration among students.
  • Engage students in an inquiry-based activity.
  • Develop relevant and authentic knowledge and skills.
  • Support the learners' thinking at the levels of analysis, synthesis, and evaluation.
  • Involve the transformation of information, creating new knowledge or new ideas.

Click on these four sites to look at examples of Telecollaborative Projects -- each site contains a variety of telecollaborative projects.
