Exporting Shockwave How can we embed the animation that we have just made in a Web page? That is also a fairly simple process that has two steps: first export the movie in Shockwave format, and then use a special HTML tag to embed the Shockwave movie in a Web page. To export your movie as Shockwave, select "File" > "Export Movie" from the main menu. Select "Flash Player (*.swf)" for the file type, choose the directory containing the HTML file that you are going to embed the movie in, give the file a name, and click "O.K". In the resulting dialogue box, leave all the settings at their default value, except choose "Flash 3" for the format (this will make the movie more compatible with browsers that don't have the newest plugin installed). Click "O.K." to export the Shockwave file.
Now, open the HTML file and use the mouse to copy and paste the following EMBED command in the HTML file at the point where you want the movie to appear.
where "movie.swf" is the name that you gave to the movie when you saved it as a Shockwave file, and we assume that this file is in the same directory as the HTML file (other wise you must specify the complete path to the Shockwave file). If you open this HTML file in a browser equipped with the Shockwave plugin, you should see something like the following animation. Note: if there is no animation below, you probably do not have a current enough Shockwave plugin installed for this browser.
