Posted by admin on May 25, 2012

Distance education is not as easy as some people may think; however, there are many positive aspects to studying from home. Distance education requires a computer, an internet connection, patience and self-discipline. Communication is through email, and questions are usually answered within 24 hours. A student does not have to be computer savvy to study online.

A person with a busy schedule may find distance education a great way to earn their degree without having to quit their job or ignore their family responsibilities. All of their work must be submitted online to their professor, but it can be completed any day of the week at any time of the day, as long as it meets the deadline set by the professor. Distance education has given many people the opportunity to earn their degree. People who work long hours will find studying online to be convenient and affordable. They can study whenever they have time and work on their assignments on their own schedule. However, they must be organized and independent. If you find going to a traditional college hard, but know how to operate a computer, send email and study on your own, then distance education may be the right choice for you.If you like what you see, keep going: Accessibility in Distance Education Training – Webinar – May 10, 2012
